Key Points:

  • Bondz requires mandatory verification when creating an account.
  • Safety reports are moderated by real people and pictures cannot be sent in chat to prevent unwanted harassment.
  • In-person events are moderated by Bondz ambassadors.

Bondz is dedicated to maintaining a high level standard for safety on its platforms. The Bondz team firmly believes that everyone should feel safe when seeking out new connections and has taken great effort into Bondz’s safety procedures. This includes upholding safety on the Bondz app and at in-person events.

When onboarding a new Bondz account, users are asked to verify their identity. The verification process is meant to ensure there are no fake profiles to prevent catfishing. Verification also ensures everyone is at least 18 years old to prevent minors from joining. Bondz is looking to keep real users on the platform–not bots or catfishes. With A.I. software becoming more accessible, many dating platforms are struggling with bots and fake profiles. Bondz is aiming to minimize this issue through identity verification.

People are able to report other accounts due to safety concerns. When reports are made, they go directly to the Bondz team to manually review. This means real people view reports rather than automating the process. Bondz has also made the choice to prevent people from sending images in-chat. While images can be a great way to get to know about someone’s interest or personal life, images can also lead to harassment. Dating apps have a notorious history of women being sent unsolicited images, which Bondz does not condone and why images cannot be sent in-chat.

In-person Bondz events are hosted by the Bondz team, including Bondz ambassadors. These ambassadors are trained to moderate and follow safety procedures to ensure that all attendees feel welcomed. All Bondz events are clearly stated to have a no tolerance policy for any sort of harassment or bigoted behavior. Any concerns attendees may have can always be directed to an ambassador who will uphold Bondz’s standard for keeping a safe environment.

Safety is the number one priority for Bondz. Everyone must go through identity verification to ensure profiles are from real people. To minimize potential harassment, images cannot be sent in-chat. And the Bondz team is dedicated to reviewing all in-app safety reports while ambassadors are trained to maintain a safe environment at in-person events. Bondz was made to help people find others through their interests and believes everyone has a right to do so in a safe way.
